部分新成果:
1.在发现了印度洋偶极子的双开尔文波滞后负反馈机制的基础上,进一步研究表明印度洋偶极子可以通过改变印尼贯穿流流量影响太平洋暖池的热力充放电过程,并且通过热带太平洋海气耦合机制加以放大,从而影响太平洋的ENSO演变过程。
2.研究表明跨陆架环流、穿刺锋面和吕宋海峡黑潮非线性变异等过程是黑潮与中国近海水交换的三个主要通道,有关这些通道的机制和通量正在逐步揭示过程中。
3.与传统观点相反,夏季西南黄海存在向北的黄海沿岸流,并伴随有江苏沿岸上升流,夏季黄海冷水团环流存在显著的大尺度逆温现象和三维环流结构。

2008年荣获国家杰出青年基金的资助;
2009年初,提出《采取措施预防今年春夏之交我市沿海可能出现的浒苔灾害》的建议,在全市统一战线“我为应对国际金融危机影响献一策”活动经验交流会上被评为优秀成果奖。
